Picross For Nintendo Ds – Review

First Impression: Picross looked like it might be fairly interesting when I first glanced at it online. You get to make cool looking pixel art in a sudoku-like fashion. You start with a grid box and numbers on the side and top. I thought, ok this isn’t so bad, and I get to see cool little pixel animations after I finish the puzzle.

The Game: Watch out, this can quickly become extremely addicting. I haven’t finished playing through all the puzzles as there are quite a few and as you get into the higher levels they usually take at least 30 minutes each. So that may ease my addiction a bit, after I complete all the built-in puzzles. But, there are still more ways to keep playing.

You can download older Picross puzzles from the previous version. They are pretty lame compared to the new ones, but you might as well try it out. And you can challenge any random person that’s online with the Nintendo wifi features. Many of my Asian competitors had over 1000 wins. Talk about addicted! I th
