Yep, looks like Nintendo has yet another version of its handheld DS gaming console in the works — except this time, it’ll come with a 3-D display that won’t require 3-D glasses. So … how’s that going to work?

The New York Times reports that the “tentatively” named 3DS will go on sale sometime in the next fiscal year, which (in the case of Nintendo) means anytime between next week (April 1) and March 31, 2011.

The 3-DS (and yes, this is all official) will be unveiled in June at the E3 gaming conference in Los Angeles, Nintendo says, and it’ll be compatible with all existing DS titles.

That’s just about all Nintendo is revealing for now, but gaming blog Kotaku chimes in with a few educated guesses. For example, the gamers at Kotaku speculate that the 3-DS may end up being an “all-new” piece of hardware, not just an incremental update to the existing DS line. They also believe that the new handheld will come with two cameras.

All right, then, so what about this 3-D display (or displays, in the case of the twin-screen DS) that won’t require 3-D glasses? That’s a tantalizing detail, and my first thought was that Nintendo is planning to use a mini version of one of those autostereoscopic 3-D displays that cropped up at CES back in January. Autostereoscopic 3-D TVs work on the same principle as those winking Mona Lisa pictures you find in tourist shops, using lenticular lenses to send the correct left and right images to your left and right eyes. The problem with autostereoscopic 3-D displays? The cheaper ones look pretty blurry and require you to be in exactly the right “sweet spot” to produce the 3-D effect, while the more advanced versions are hideously expensive.

Kotaku has another theory, though: the use of dual cameras to track your position and movement, thus allowing the handheld to create a faux 3-D perspective when you tilt the 3-DS this way and that. As Kotaku points out, such a process was employed for the recent DSi game “3D Hidden Picture,” and if you watch the video, you’ll immediately see how it works.

In any case, it looks like we’ll have to wait for more official details — including a look at the device itself and a price tag — until E3, just three short months away.

[Update: Engadget says it's hearing whispers that the 3DS might boast a "parallax barrier" 3D display (more about that here) as well as a "3D control stick" and rumble support. Interesting.]

Where To Find The Top Lotto Numbers

One lotto strategy that has been around for a long time is what I call the Hot Number Strategy. It considered the HOT numbers to be the top lotto numbers to play. This lottery strategy is still being used by lotto players the world over and that is really sad. Although, it’s popularity is understandable. All of the marketing hype used to sell this fantasy sounds good, it appears to make sense, it is easy to understand, it is easy to implement but it is pure baloney wrapped in a robe of golden hope. I was the first to uncover the fallacy of this lottery strategy a few years ago and I have been crusading ever since to shed some light on the subject. But, there was one thread of righteous truth hidden in the strategy that did capture my attention. After pulling, pushing and picking at this thread for some time, I was able to unravel my first startling breakthrough in lotto number analysis. I called this thread Cycles. To this day, nothing has been discovered which outperforms Cycles.

HOT Lotto Number Strategy

To lay the ground work for a discussion of Cycles, let’s explain the basis of the Hot Number Strategy. It turns out to be an good lead in to a discussion of Cycles. The Hot Number Strategy simply states that the lotto numbers that have hit in the last 10 drawings must be HOT numbers. The idea is that if a lottery number is HOT, you should play it. Supposedly, these lottery numbers are considered HOT because of their recent activity. Many people fell for this pitch. But, by asking a few simple questions, the strategy begins to fall apart.

The fallacy behind the Hot Number Strategy lies in the assumption. So, what is this assumption? The assumption is that the best play list is the list of lotto numbers from the last 10 drawings. Who says? Are people supposed to blindly accept that statement as truth without question? Where is the proof that this is the case?

A Hearty Lottery Strategy

These are exactly the questions I asked myself. And, posing these questions led directly to the bottom line question which was, ‘If the winning numbers from the last 10 drawings aren’t the best play list, then what is the best play list?’ As I worked the problem, I soonrealized that a

single lottery solution was not adequate. I needed a solution that was robust; one that would work for every lottery.

Also, the solution had to apply to any size lottery. It also had to apply to 5 number and 6 number lotteries. It had to apply to any period of the lotteries history and it had to apply to lotteries that started 10 years ago, 5 years ago, 2 years ago, etc. Basically, the solution needed to be universal. I was finally able to solve the problem after many months of software developemnt. The solution is called Cycles.

What Are Lotto Cycles?

As it turns out, the Hot Number Strategy is also a Cycle. It is called Cycle 1-10. The 1 being the last drawing and the 10 refers to ten drawings ago (10 drawings back). So, if you were getting ready to play drawing 100 on Saturday, Cycle 1-10 would refer to drawings 90 thru 99; the last 10 drawings. Your play list would be made up of the winning numbers from those drawings.

To all the HOT number aficiandos, Cycle 1-10 is considered to be the best. At this moment in a lotteries history, maybe it is; maybe not. So, instead of guessing, why not check the performance of all Cycles? For example, maybe Cycle 9-18 produces a better list; or Cycle 11-20 or Cycle 27-36. It is critical to make a good choice. It would be a waste to spend your money on Cycle 1-10 when Cycle 25-34 was a better choice.

Here is a fundamental truth that all lottery players must accept and learn. No two lotteries are the same. What works for one doesn’t work for the other. The best Cycle in one lottery is not necessarily the best in another. The entire idea that the Hot Number Strategy would work equally well for all lotteries is absurd. If it were only that easy. But, if you don’t believe me, then I know someone who is selling some ocean-front property in Arizona. Forgive me George.

No, you’re not going to win the lottery just because you use Cycles. Although, I’m sure there are some who would believe that. The only thing you can do is increase your chances of winning. Anyone who tells you otherwise would also try to sell you the Golden Gate Bridge. Again, sorry George.

How to Play the Lottery

So, here is my philosophy on playing the lottery. If you’re going to play the lottery, then at least do it right. Be logical. Be consistent. Play smart. Use the best lottery software. Budget your money wisely. And, above all, have fun.

I strongly believe that everyone is destined to win the lottery, if they live long enough. Perhaps your lucky day is 4,521 years, 304 days from now. Do you see the difficulty? So, the plan is to do everything you can to increase your chances of winning the lottery. The first of which is to construct a list of the best lottery numbers to play. Here is the easiest way to get all the gold you’ll ever need quickly even employing a level one character.
Step One:
No matter what level or what class your principal personality is, make a new character that is really close to a major town Auction House. If you’re playing Alliance, try creating a dwarf of gnome and run to Ironforge. You might try creating a night-elf and running to Darnassus, but you could have more luck selling from the bigger Auction Homes . If you’re playing Horde, make a troll or tauren and run to Orgrimmar.
Step Two:
Find the nearest Auction House and work out where the closest mail box is in comparison. Park your low level personality close to the Auction House.

Download Free PSP Games – Step #2

Once you have downloaded the PSP games to your computer, you will need to transfer them to your PSP with a USB cable. Once you connect your PSP to the computer you will be able to simply drag and drop the game files to your PSP.

You will just need to make sure that you copy the PSP game files to the correct path or they will not work. The correct path to use is: PSP>GAME (make sure that they are in capital letters too).

So you just got your new PSP and you want to download games but you’re not sure what to do or where to go? Well this article will show you how download games to your PSP.

First you will need:

Sony PSP with firmware 1.0 or 1.5

PSP Memory Stick Pro Duo

1. Go to the website and pick the game that you want to download.

2. Download the game to your computer making sure that it will work with the version of firmware that is on your PSP player. Make sure the file ends with PSP

3. Insert the memory Stick into your PSP player

4. Connect the PSP player to your computer via the USB cable

5. Copy the game onto your PSP player making sure to place them under the “PSP”, “GAMES” folders on your memory stick. If these folders don’t exist on your memory stick you will need to create them.

Prices of games have been going up and up in the recent past, and in stores this isn’t going to change any time soon. It is also important to point out that the Wii Media system was created for people who have no tech skills, and there are guides which take you through the entire setup process as well as 24/7 support to make sure it is up and running smoothly and quickly.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village (also known as Professor Layton curious village Nintendo DS) is essentially a puzzle game, but it’s a different kind of puzzle game to what you might be used to playing. Because of its curious nature, some have compared it to brain training exercises that you might do by reading a book. The fact the game is based on a book (written by Professor Akira Tago), is no coincidence. To sum up the story briefly, you play Professor Layton, and have been invited to solve the “The Golden Apple” mystery, with the help of your assistant, Luke. The game has a very gentry, English feel to it, not dissimilar to that of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, and that is undoubtedly part of its charm.

One of the game’s characters, Baron Reinhalt, before dying, declares that whoever can solve the mystery of “The Golden Apple” will inherit all of his fortune. Naturally, many people try and fail, and this is when you’re called in. The game is like a jolly version of Poirot, but in a Nintendo DS game.

The game lends itself to the point-and-click style of many PC games, and enjoys a slow pace. For those that like an all-action, gung ho style of game, this is definitely not for you. It is definitely a thinking man’s game, and for this it can be very rewarding. I don’t want to give too much of the story away, so I’ll just mention that it does become very engrossing, and that they game is extremely witty and well-mannered.

Professor Layton curious village Nintendo DS is well worth playing, and will not disappoint if you like to challenge yourself and solve puzzles. I feel like this game could be a small turning point for video games, and that we could soon see a lot more games of this type being released.
